Ahmed Younoussi (Ksar-el-Kébir, Morocco) is a Spanish-Moroccan actor whose life and artistic career are deeply intertwined. At the age of 9, he arrived in Spain after undertaking a solo migration journey — an experience that has profoundly shaped his artistic vision and commitment to telling stories of resilience and transformation.
His entry into acting happened by chance with the short film Metrópolis Ferry (2010), where he initially participated as an advisor. When the lead actor dropped out, Ahmed stepped into the main role, thus beginning his acting career. Since then, he has worked in film, television, and theater, standing out for his authenticity and emotional depth.
In 2024, he co-wrote and starred in the play 14.4, alongside Juan Diego Botto and under the direction of Sergio Peris-Mencheta. This autobiographical piece tells his own migration story and has been acclaimed for raising awareness about the realities faced by unaccompanied migrant minors.
